Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November the 18th of November, 1985, located in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, her father was an ordained minister in the Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet elementary school. Felix realized early on that she was gifted in running while attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. She came second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in only 10 weeks, after the first time she tried out. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003, signed an agreement with Adidas. Then she was accepted into the University of Southern California and studied elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s and set a new junior world record. She became the youngest 200-meter world champion during the Helsinki World Championships. She defended this title in 2007, defeating her longtime Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix competed in her first Olympics at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo always finishing in the top three places in all her competitions.
