Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November the 18th of November, 1985, located in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, her father was an ordained minister in the Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet elementary school. Felix realized early on that she was gifted in running while attending Los Angeles Baptist High School.
