Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix the Los Angeles native born on the 18th November 1985. The father of her Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley, and their mother Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix showed an early aptitude to play sports while in high school at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Her sprinting talent at that at the time. Felix finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in only 10 weeks, after her first attempt. Felix completed high school and signed an agreement for Adidas. In 2004, she was enrolled at the University of Southern California, which is where she studied elementary education. Felix was presented with her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200m in 22.18s and set an all-time junior world record. She was the youngest world champion in the 200 meters in the Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007 beating long-time Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top 3 in her various races in the Olympics held in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
